I am thinking about things I shouldn't be and should STILL be doing homework. That's going to become a theme these next four weeks.
Anyway.
How do you prefer your webcomics? Color? Black and white? Grayscale?
I don't see myself ever working with a publisher (partly because if I lose control of my own ideas then fuck that) but talking to normal people/other artists about this stuff seems like a good idea. So what I'm asking is, what kind of stuff do you people like to see in comics, in terms of presentation?
Granted, I'm a one-man army as far as all production and presentation goes, so I can only do so much before I get burnt out, and I think trying to do DNA in color the last two times I went for it is one of the MANY reasons why it didn't work out.
If I do the web version in black and white, the version in print will be full color. And there will be a print version. I don't want the web and print versions to be the same basic thing.
But uh.
Yeah.
Tell me things, or something.
Meanwhile, I must wash my hands.

In the interest of an easier-to-update-regularly comic, I'd say you should go for BW or greyscale...
Also, maybe it's just the psyche-spectrum I'm thinking of, but isn't color something that gets referred to a little bit? I don't know, honestly. It's ultimately your decision, of course, but there's my thoughts.
I don't like stories that start off in color personally; it's either do it the whole way through, or don't do it at all.
But no, color... takes too fucking long, and time spent coloring could be spent pushing the story along, or maybe even there'll be more time for more updates. I certainly don't want to be a year into the story and only have like, 52 pages online. That's not even through Chapter 1 yet.
Color IS very important to the X species in particular. I'll find a way to make it work.
