It was just amazing, I'm not even kidding.
I may or may not have a few commission/coloring opportunities with a big company/inking opportunities just because I took my stuff to that con and showed it to people. I am so excited. I got to talk to Jill Thompson, who's really nice, and her watercolor work is just phenomenally gorgeous, I love it. She liked my stuff too, I was all like, EEEEEEEEE. I think I actually made that noise too, I wouldn't be surprised if I did, pff.
And I got to talk to Jon Hughes, who is *JonHughes here. He's extremely nice (he gave Magan a $15 print for free after he got done critiquing us), and I love how he handles the figure; he does really, really good work.
But yeah, as I was talking to everyone, all I really got was a lot of positive feedback, one guy even told me that he couldn't see anything to crit.
SO. Yeah. It's time I start getting my shit out there. I need to get my comics off the ground, I need to really start working my ass off, I need to get the fuck out of school oh my god school is the worst time eater ever and that's all it feels like too is just a time eater.
I know I can do it, I just... need the time and the motivation.
This past weekend was awesome, it really was.
ALSO.
I have made myself a Sketchbook thread on ConceptArt. Go and check it out; I post all of my studies and whatnot up in there. It is linked in the sidebar.
I've also returned to Storm-Artists. We'll see how that goes. If anybody still uses that site, I am Sticky-Bubblegum over there now.

Also, the day you went, that was the day we all chose to sleep in, pff.
